30V, 100mA Low VF Schottky Diodes in the ultra miniature TLM2D3D6 package
Central Semiconductor's CTLSH01-30 and CTLSH01-30L are Low VF Schottky diodes in the space saving, low profile TLM2D3D6 surface mount package.
These new devices have a peak reverse voltage rating of 30V and a maximum forward current rating of 100mA. The CTLSH01-30 has a low forward voltage drop (VF) of 410mV at 10mA and an outstanding low reverse leakage current (IR) of 30nA, while the CTLSH01-30L provides an even lower VF of 300mV.
The TLM2D3D6 package has a dimension of 0.65mm x 0.35mm and a low profile of 0.32mm making both of these devices ideal for space constrained designs requiring superior energy efficiency.

Versatile Dual 70V, 15mA Schottky diodes in the SOT-963 package
Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the introduction of the CMRD6263DO dual isolated 70V, 15mA Schottky diodes packaged in the ultra miniature SOT-963 surface mount case. This device has an outstanding low VF of 395mV and a fast switching speed of less than 5.0ns making it ideal for the latest electronic products requiring space saving energy efficient diodes. The CMRD6263DO can be arranged in a variety of configurations including common anode, common cathode or in series by using the suggested alternative mounting pad geometries. Two CMRD6263DO devices can also be configured for full wave bridge rectification.
The SOT-963 package uses a board space area of 1.1 sq mm. This is 61% less than the space required for the SOT-563 package. In addition, with a maximum profile of 0.5mm, the SOT-963 has a 16% lower profile than the SOT-563. The small size, low profile, and low VF make the CMRD6263DO the ideal choice for a wide variety of battery powered portable devices such as cellular phones, MP3 players, glucose blood analyzers, and hearing aids. The CMRD6263DO is suitable for applications such as DC to DC conversion, reverse polarity protection, battery charging, and voltage clamping.

(3.6.10) Space saving 400 Volt SCR in the SOT-23 package
Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of the CMPS5064 Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) due to high customer demand. This device packaged in SOT-23 is a 400V, 0.8A SCR designed for applications with space constraints requiring a fast switching high voltage device. In addition to the high voltage capability, key attributes of the CMPS5064 are a low 0.8V gate trigger voltage with a low 200µA (max) gate trigger current, and a fast on-state switching speed of 2.8µs (typ).
The SOT-23 package utilizes 84% less board space than the SOT-223 and 64% less than the SOT-89. It also has a 39% lower profile than the SOT-223 and 36% less than the SOT-89. The CMPS5064 is suitable for applications such as over-voltage protection, pulse generation, lamp drivers, and battery charging regulation. Ideal end-products include: digital cameras, GFI protection products, and small motor controllers.

(27.1.10) Space saving, energy efficient 2A, 100V Schottky Bridge Rectifier
Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of the CBRHDSH2-100 Schottky Bridge Rectifier packaged in the HD DIP case. This new energy efficient device has a low reverse leakage current of 0.7uA and addresses the need for a space saving 2A, 100V full wave bridge rectifier essential for today’s power management, solid state lighting, and power over ethernet applications.
The space saving advantage of the CBRHDSH2-100 is a 50% reduction in utilized board space compared to four individual Schottky rectifiers in the SMA package. Coupled with a low profile of less than 2.7mm, this device provides the ideal solution for the increasing number of applications with limited space requirements.
