The first commercially available product of its kind, it has helped earn us a leadership position in this rapidly developing market. All of Clare's products are the result of high-quality manufacturing processes, proven engineering expertise, and in-depth market knowledge. The majority of our products are targeted at critical challenges in the telecommunications industry, and specifically, the wireline interface. To address the needs of both the central office and the end user, we have created silicon-based solutions that replace bulky magnetics while improving performance and reliability. We also develop high-performance, comprehensive OLED driver solutions, which are a central ingredient in producing OLED flat-panel displays. OLED is fundamentally a light-emitting technology, meaning the brightness of the display is directly proportional to the current flowing through it. Our mixed-signal ICs provide the precise, wide-dynamic-range current driver solutions demanded by OLED displays. OptoMOS Solid State Products: Clare's OptoMOS line of solid state products helps protect sensitive electronic systems against the threat of high voltage. These highly integrated OptoMOS solid state relays, switches and optocouplers use discrete semiconductor components and the patented OptoMOS architecture to deliver fast, reliable, bounce-free switching in a compact design. Compared to larger EMRs and reed relays our OptoMOS relays offer significantly lower drive-current, small package size, no susceptibility to magnetic interaction and solid state reliability. This line is focused primarily on the telecommunications and data communications markets, but also serves the industrial control, security and automated test equipment markets. Data Access Arrangements: Today, there is an increasing need for highly integrated silicon products to help speed time to market and enable more compact designs. Our LITELINK and Cybergate Data Access Arrangements (DAAs) integrate several discrete components into a single drop-in, all-silicon package. The LITELINK family of single package, optically isolated silicon DAAs offers high performance and lower cost. Our Cybergate modules include all external passives and protective components needed for the DAA function. These products are focused on the customer premise equipment market, including applications ranging from vending machines to set-top boxes. Line Card Access Switch (LCAS) Products: Existing telecommunications infrastructures are being asked to support a growing array of services and capabilities. Clare's unique Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) process technology enables LCAS ICs to solve line card density problems by replacing electromechanical relays (EMRs). Our LCAS ICs are non-magnetic, permitting them to be placed close to other components without causing interference. This allows for up to 96 lines per card, resulting in enhanced efficiency in both board space use and telecommunications switching infrastructure operation. This new LCAS family is aimed at the central office and fast-growing digital local loop carrier access markets. OLED Display Driver ICs: OLED driver ICs are a critical piece to achieving the display performance required by next-generation consumer electronics products. This emissive display technology enables the higher-quality grayscaling and significantly faster refresh rate desired for viewing the rich data and video content possible with broadband communication. Our OLED driver ICs are being designed for use in the OLED displays of tomorrow's cell phones, PDAs, games and cameras. Clare's Micronix IC Group entered the OLED driver IC market in May 2000, with the introduction of the first-ever custom-built OLED column driver. Since that time additional products have been introduced, including the industry's first commercially available grayscale OLED driver/controller. |

Releet ovat teollisuussäätöstandardin UL 508 mukaisia.
Clare julkaisee uuden nelinastaisten, yksinapaisten puolijohdereleiden perheen, jonka eristyskyky on 5000 V
IXYS-ryhmään kuuluva Clare, Inc. on julkaissut uuden sarjan 4-nastaisia, 5000 Vrms eristyskykyisiä puolijohdereleitä.
