We supply water cut parts with bevels and markings. Water cutting enables excellent cutting surface and accuracy without any thermal effects up to the plate thickness of 100 mm. The greatest advantage of our combi machine is the accuracy of water cutting and the speed of plasma cutting.
Water cutting can be used to all materials. Clean and accurate cutting surface minimizes the need for machining. In addition, water cutting is environmentally friendly because no carbon dioxide or other gases are released into the air.
Water cutting is mechanical and abrasive. Abrasive cutting is based on eroding the material with water and abrasive grains. The high-pressure intensifier pump generates pressurized water that turns into a water jet when flowing through the extremely small diamond nozzle in the cutting head. Adding abrasive makes the water jet and cutting force a thousand times stronger. This enables cutting thicker and stronger steel plates. Water and abrasive leave the cutting head at multiple speed of sound.
