BYD Battery Box HVE – Modular high-voltage battery system for residential and commercial applications
The BYD Battery Box HVE is a high-voltage lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system designed for advanced energy storage in residential and light commercial installations. Featuring a modular architecture, each battery tower consists of 2 to 4 battery modules (HVE 4.2 or HVE 6.4) combined with a Battery Control Unit (BCU), enabling usable energy capacities ranging from 8.6 to 23.6 kWh per tower.
Thanks to its robust IP65-rated enclosure, natural convection cooling, and wide operating temperature range (–20 °C to +55 °C), the HVE system is suitable for indoor installations. The system supports on-grid and backup applications and maintains high efficiency with DC-to-DC round-trip values ≥95 %.
The Battery Box HVE is exclusively compatible with BYD’s own Power-Box TH5–15K three-phase inverters, ensuring seamless system integration and optimized performance in high-voltage environments.

BATTERY-MAX LITE
The BYD Battery-Max Lite is a lithium-ion battery system designed for commercial and industrial-scale solar energy installations. In the Battery-Max Lite system, the control module is integrated directly into the battery unit. It operates both in grid-connected mode and in backup applications with compatible inverters.
A single Battery-Max Lite module provides a capacity range of 30 to 90 kWh. By connecting up to 32 units in parallel, the system’s total capacity can reach up to 2.88 MWh.
